Random Tale #1

There I was in the mobile home.  My roommate or some lady was mixing up another potion.  Lemons were her favorite.  I sensed that she was up to no good.  I inquired casually about the pink teardropish shaped jar filled with liquid and hunks of lemon saying it reminded me of a lava lamp.  I was hoping she would admit to her evil plot, but she didn't take the bait. I knew what she used her weird concoction for.... how barbaric, she used it on the backs of children as she gave them tattoos.  Tattoos of what I'm not sure, I only guessed that these were not tattoos of their choosing, but rather her permanent mark upon them.

As I got up to go outside I notice all the flowers in the grass.  Multicolored Pansies all over the yard.  I asked my sister about it thinking they had grown there on there own, but no my dad had planted them.  Then a crazy brown dog came out of nowhere trying to get inside the house.  I closed the screen door but imagined it would surly break its way in.  So I closed the glass door as well.  All of the sudden the engine turned on and we were moving I feel into the gray couch and lay there wondering how my sister knew how to drive the house?  I realized my dad must have taught her.  We took off in a big circle to lose the dog.

This worked quite well, and with the dog gone I was free to go on a walk.  As I was making my way past the pond I spotted a rather large turtle.  It's shell was plain black and it's skin was bright yellow.  I have no idea what kind of turtle it might be.  At that point a father with two sons approached.  The boys were excited and wanted to keep the turtle as a pet.  Having had turtles of my own as pets in the past I knew it was a lot more work to take care of them and keep them healthy than most people initially thought.  I tried explaining to the father that I had done much research about the care of turtles and his sons should not be so quick to claim this creature as their own.  I also pointed out that this particular turtle was standing in quite and aggressive turtle stance.  He was having none of it, but we continued onward now and the turtle was not with us.

The man and his sons had joined me on my walk and so had my sister and my own father.  We approached a rather ghetto looking housing development.  All of the houses looking the same with this dull gray color and plain box look.  It was more of a hotel than a housing development.  Nevertheless some of the homes used to be used in an old TV series a long time ago.  These houses had strange round speakers at the door and you could stand and listen to the story of the celebrities that used to be in the house.  My dad tried listening to one, but it was broken.  My sister found one that worked, but she took up all the space and I couldn't hear anything.

We moved on and spotted a large group of wild turkeys.  I fiddled around for my camera as I wanted to get a picture, but I couldn't manage to get it.  At this point the two boys had spotted some new animals to torment and headed toward group of strangely mutated baby turkeys.  These baby turkey squawked loudly as the boys proceeded to prod them and kick at them.  I was about to tell them to stop it when one of the boys stood on top of one of the turkeys.  Then the turkey stood up and low and behold it was not a turkey at all but and ostrich!  The boy rode the ostrich around and I was amused as the ostrich was clearly a trained ostrich used in ostrich racing.  Thus it was used to people ridding it and the boy was not harming it at all.

Wow what a strange dream that was! The End!
